The Boy: The partner I lived with from before this blog's inception until our amicable split in late 2012. Although I refer to him here as The Boy, he is in fact genderqueer and would sometimes wear girl-clothes in order to express his feminine side. A lot of those girl-clothes were gifts from me - androgyny turns my crank like whoa.
Birch(y): My cat, so named because he's black and white like the trunk of a birch tree. I got him from the Toronto Cat Rescue (an awesome organization btw) in 2009.
